The family of Gwen emigareted from Panama to state and lived in many cities because of her father’s ministry. Before coming to New York City, she had lived in Pennsylvania, Massachusetts church parsonages and subsidized housing in Buffalo. She spent her childhood with her family along with three brothers and two sisters. Gwen’s nationality is American and belongs to the black ancestry.
